Life Aid Centre started the Early Intervention Centre for the Speech & Hearing Impaired Children in 2008 in Tiruvallur District. We identify children under 3 Years and train them through specially trained teachers. After successful completion of 5 Years of robust training we integrate them into normal School.

The special boarding school for the deaf provides education therapy, vocational training. Parent Counseling is also part of our routine program. We serve up to 10th std and over 90% of the children achieve the results to study further. Candle making and tailoring are given to help children to find jobs after they finish school.

The residential school caters to the needs of the rural  mentally handicapped children including those with cerebral palsy. We provide education, daily living skills and vocational training with the goal of improving the children’s standard of living and ability to care for themselves when they leave the school.
